End of WW1

The end of the war!

People began to become more positive when the war ended. Society began to look further into the future, designers picked up on this youtfulness and positivity that people now showed and together they modernised the international commercial world.
People's attitudes changed as they went inot the 1920s, manners were less formal., people's clothes were   more casual, and young people were free to move and live away from their parents. Girls' attitudes changed the most. They smoked in public, they cut their hair short, they shortend their skirts, they wore make up and they went to parties un chaperoned.
The flapper girl has arrived!!!

Young Men

Young men wore casual clothes also, and they went out with their friends and drank cocktails. Those who could afford it went out and drove fast cars. Society became preoccupied with leisure and suddenly sportswear was a big fashion statement.
