Women's fashion in the 1990s

In the early 90s, one of the main fashion trends was Neon coloured clothing. Which went with the 'Rave scene'. (My mum says she remembers having a lime green jumper and thinking it was the business.) Women also used to wear sportswear like track suit bottoms, some even wore leotards with jeans over the top.
In the mid 90s, hippie style was revived and floral dresses were brought back as well as turtle neck shirts, lace blouses etc.
During the late 90s, for women pastel colours came in while wearing crop tops and revealing your waist. Casual wear was a big thing toward the end of the decade and some popular accessories were jelly shoes (i remember my jelly sandals, would love some now!) big hoop earrings, trainers and gold jewellery.
