Exposition Universalle

Exposition Universalle 1900

Otherwise known as universal expedition was a fair held in Paris, France. It was to celebrate the achievements of the past and to encourage future development. A lot of the things we know nowadays were inventions presented at the expedition for example: escalators, The Eiffel Tower, Ferris wheels, Campbell's soup

Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau was very involved in the exposition as it was a very popular art movement in those days. The phrase 'Art Nouveau' actually means New Art. It consisted of very curvy and intricate designs generally of people or buildings.
